Uh Oh
I recently found out that (one maybe all) found out about this blog. I guess I shouldn't complain as it is old! Surprised it took so long!
Well Pesach is over and we are back to normal now. The kids started school Monday and my daughter has a new English teacher. Her previous teacher decided to move to Israel after Pesach, mind you she got married a few months ago. Not a happy camper. She was doing so well in her class. A star reader. A great teacher in my opinion despite her young age. I really liked her and the way she taught. I will miss her, but now I am upset she couldn't wait until the end of the year.
I think my sons preschool teachers is engaged, which means that I have to call the parents to collect an engagement/wedding gift for her. Better do so soon, because I also have to collect for the graduation! What fun. I don't think I want to sign up for this anymore.
Sunday night I received a cute phone call. It was my friends daughter, "Hi, I want to let you know my mommy had a baby girl last night." It was adorable. I am happy for my friend. Her family is growing nicely. I will try to call her soon to wish her Mazel Tov.
Speaking of mazel tov, my first cousins daughter is engaged. I hope to go to that wedding. A few weeks later, my first cousins granddaughter got engaged! Yes, you read right...his granddaughter!! Go figure and do the math. Complicate. Unbelievable. But true. I don't think I can make it to that wedding, as it is in Israel.
So Pesach was nice. Keep thinking of what it will take to stay home. Contemplate it but usually by Purim we say "not this year." Maybe next year will be the one.
Painting once again. Got into the mood of fixing up the house. Decided to paint the attic and clean out the bedroom that is there and make it presentable for guests and have some company sleep over. We started last night. Mind you the hallway upstairs is this ugly yellow, so we need to prime the walls first. The first time we painted, we skipped the priming as the walls were white to begin with. I love fixing up the house and getting things to look different. This is internal and no one will really see it. It is not like fixing my staircase that will get everyone's attention!
I cannot believe school is over in a mere two months. Time flies. The kids had a great year...And soon is summer....Do I even have enough vacation days to use for actual vacation? Will that be possible?
Have a great day, and enjoy the lovely weather!
